What is TapAura?
A platform where good service
leaves something behind.
South Africa runs on service. Millions of careful, patient, skilled interactions happen every day — and almost none of them leave a record for the person who delivered them. TapAura exists to change that.
In one sentence
TapAura is a recognition platform for service work — a way for appreciation to be given easily and remembered permanently.
In practice
A moment of good service is acknowledged. That acknowledgement is recorded, and it becomes part of the service history of the person who earned it.
Over time
Those records accumulate into a reputation: verified, portable and owned by the worker rather than by any single employer.
The people it serves
Two sides of the same moment.
The customer
Someone who noticed. Who wanted to say thank you in a way that lands, and who would rather their appreciation count for something than evaporate at the counter.
The service worker
A petrol attendant, waiter, stylist, cleaner, driver or technician whose reputation lives only in the memory of the people they helped — and disappears with every job change.
What TapAura is not
Not a review site
Reviews rate businesses. TapAura recognises people, and it does so with the consent and participation of the person being recognised.
Not a loyalty programme
The value created belongs to the worker, not to a brand. Recognition is not a marketing mechanic.
Not an anonymous rating system
Recognition is tied to real interactions, so what accumulates is credible rather than noisy.
Aura at a Tap
Aura is the impression a person leaves behind. TapAura makes it visible.
